The aim of the exchange was for Knowledge Exchange partners to discuss and learn from each other.
Experts from all KE partners exchanged experience and views on their country's current policy and scholarly communications environment, their national procurement strategies and national licences processes, their biggest challenges and examples of how these are being addressed. Discussed were recent developments regarding Open Access in the negotiations on licenses for research journals: the increased relevance of the Open Access models for Higher Education and Research and the growing interest of government policies in Open Access aspects.
