National Licensing Workshop

A joint workshop on National Licensing was held in Copenhagen on 19-20 February 2007 with invited experts from the four Knowledge Exchange partner countries.

The workshop focused on developing a common view on many of the issues involved in licensing, while also helping each country to improve the development of its national strategy in the area.

The workshop consisted of five focus groups to cover the following areas:

• Access and administration
• Alternative business models
• Getting content
• Providing access
• Statistics and evaluation
